Today I thought I would start the new year with a fun pop up card using our cure Terrific Toadstools Stamp set and punch.
The important thing this card taught me ….. its time to re-ink my stamp pads!!!!!
This is a pretty simple card just using the standard basic card base – cut an A4 sheet of Melon Mambo in half along the longest side of the cardstock (thats 14.9 cm for me) and turn the card to score at 10.5 cm and also again at 5.25 cm.
I cut Granny Apple Green at 13.9 cm x 9.5 cm and Basic White at 12.9 cm x 8.5 cm.
I’ve stamped the front using the same colours – Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo then stamped the tops of the toadstools onto a scrap piece of white and cute them out with the matching punch.
For the stems, I’ve stamped in Basic Beige and fussy cut using my paper snips.
It was easy to assemble using multipurpose glue and dimensionals.
The inside of the card was simple with the basic white cardstock, scraps of granny apple green and a small peice of the new Sale-a-bration designer series paper (keep an eye out on my fb page for details of that when its release on the 7th January).
The sentiment inside was raised using dimensionals to provide a raised section to hold the open easel in place.
